Once Canada's largest 4/20 gathering, drawing tens of thousands to Sunset Beach.
Police estimated about 60,000 people at the 2019 event. Since then the Park Board has opposed it, fencing the site in 2024 and noting only an informal gathering in 2025. Smaller gatherings have moved to other sites such as Thornton Park. Check the current year's plans before travelling.
